This premier culinary event celebrates the vibrant food and beverage culture of the capital city and brings together some of the region’s most talented chefs, beverage experts, and food lovers.
Hosted in partnership with Visit Jackson and The Local Palate, the festival has quickly become one of Mississippi’s most anticipated culinary experiences. Over three days, attendees will enjoy a variety of tastings, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, and special dining events designed to showcase the best of Jackson’s culinary scene.
A Weekend of Culinary Excellence
The 2026 festival expands to a full three-day experience, offering guests even more opportunities to explore incredible food and beverages.
The weekend lineup includes:
- Friday Feast (March 20) – An exclusive multi-course dinner with curated beverage pairings hosted by Chef Chair Nick Wallace and James Beard finalist Chef Hunter Evans.
- Saturday Grand Tasting (March 21) – A lively evening of tastings from more than 25 chefs, along with wine, craft beverages, live music, and cooking demonstrations.
- Sunday Festival (March 22) – A new addition for 2026 featuring tastings, demonstrations, and a relaxed afternoon atmosphere to close out the festival weekend.
The festival takes place in the Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art, creating a beautiful setting for guests to experience flavors from across Jackson and beyond.
Supporting the Local Culinary Community
Beyond celebrating food and drink, the JXN Food & Wine Festival is committed to supporting the future of Mississippi’s culinary industry. A portion of proceeds from the event benefits the Mississippi Restaurant Association Education Foundation, which provides scholarships for students pursuing careers in culinary arts and restaurant management.
